Privacy policy
Eternal Men ("we", "us") operates this website and the Men’s Barbering & Social Club at U3/74 Dover Road, Scarborough WA 6019. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
WHAT WE COLLECT
Through the enquiry form on our Contact page we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject you select, and the message you write. When you register for a Social Club event we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, how many places you want, and any note you add.
We also count visits to the site with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and cannot identify you. It records which pages are viewed and the site that sent you, plus rough details such as your country and device, and we only ever see those as totals. This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To answer your enquiry, or to run the event you registered for. Visit counts tell us which pages people use, so we know what to improve. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade them.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Enquiries and event registrations are stored so we can refer back to them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
Appointments and product purchases are handled by Square, not by this website. When you click a Book or Buy button you are taken to Square, and anything you enter there, including your payment details, is collected and processed by Square under Square's own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. We can see your booking and purchase history through our Square account, as any business can for its own customers.
WHO ELSE SEES YOUR INFORMATION
Our website host, Vercel, which stores your enquiry or registration and counts visits, and our email provider, which delivers the notification to us. Both act on our instructions. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.
SECURITY
Enquiries and registrations are stored on a system that only our own staff can access, using individual accounts and passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
ACCESS, CORRECTION AND COMPLAINTS
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email jack.case@icloud.com or call 0414 483 500. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
CHANGES
If we change this policy we will update this page.
